Description

Paul made a CVS branch allowing multiple board states to be used at the same time. Discussion in this thread:  http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/gnugo-devel/2005-04/msg00079.html.

Unfortunately, the discussion stalled at some point.

This is kind of moot with the branch being severely out of date and advances in Monte Carlo algorithms showing that parallelism efforts are best spent in Monte Carlo simulations, which have been implemented in GNU Go with their own board code.

Closing as wontfix.
